Nice to have a way to see at night without a flashlight

I got these just for the novelty of having night vision but they really are pretty cool and fun to own. I can say the image you see when using them is very clear, the zoom works well and they seem pretty sensitive to me. I can see stuff in pitch blackness and have zoomed in on my cat exploring the house late at night and can now say for certain it was the cat knocking stuff off the table and not poltergeist. 

 

I am looking forward to getting these out camping zoom to see what is lurking around our tent at night.

I've always wanted a home night vision camera to take on camping trips and other important night outings. However, outside of the military or for police use, until recent years these have always been incredibly expensive. And you would always be wary of handing your investment to a child.

These are inexpensive, and are surprisingly great quality. It boasts 4k, I confirmed through the viewfinder it is quite decent quality. The unit is also very lightweight, unlike the older military models I was familiar with. Grip is solid and it comes with a handy strap, which is very comfortable, and can be attached to the unit.

Quality Night Vision Goggles. The distance and clarity is amazing!

The goggles have a tripod connector on the bottom so you could mount this outdoors and set it to record for hours and then view the footage later which is a nice feature. The screen can be set to turn off so it is fully dark when recording wildlife like this. Ok, enough rambling. Luckily the weather has cooperating after buying these, because every night as soon as it gets dark I've been going outside to use them. It has really opened up my eyes to a whole new world - in the dark. I would highly recommend these for yourself or as a gift.
